Our Journey

Constant Evolution Since 1969

What began as a small aluminum parts machining workshop has transformed into a comprehensive plant with the capacity to offer complete solutions to the Mexican industry.

1969

Foundation

Formas Metálicas begins operations as a family workshop dedicated to machining small aluminum parts, laying the foundation for what would become a leading company in the sector.

1980

First Major Expansion

By this year, we already had production lines capable of processing 1,500 m² of aluminum in anodized finishes, multiplying our initial capacity.

1994

New Headquarters and Environmental Certification

We moved to our current location where we expanded production capacity and completely renovated the waste treatment system to comply with Federal Environmental Authorities.

2004

Service Diversification

We launched our electrostatic powder coating service and added chromating, phosphating, and electroless nickel processes for steel, expanding our offering beyond aluminum.

2007

Vertical Integration

We started operating our aluminum extrusion press with a capacity of 80 tons per month, complementing our anodized finishing and electrostatic painting lines.

2020

Technological Innovation

We created the Industrial Electronics and Control department to modernize plant equipment and centralize status and control records, taking the leap toward Industry 4.0.
